I started this one as just a portrait of a girl.... got bored with it and decided I should challenge myself more, which manifested itself in ROBOT PARTS. Obviously this was not a huge challenge given that I only show parts of the Roboskellie, but it's a step in the right direction...I hope.... Anyway, it was good fun :).
Note to self: Stop drawing girls!?!?!?!?!

Jia - I actually don't have very many dreams... the ones I do have are rare and movie-like but so far none have really involved robotic-girls, which is a shame ;D!

Hi, I just wanted to drop a comment on how much respect I have for your artwork. I was at GDC but only got to catch fleeting glimpses of Bastion and I was totally floored by the quality of the work. The paintings here on your blog are also stellar and I'm adding it into my way to many amazing artists to try and keep an eye on. Best of luck with Bastion, I hope it blows everyone else away as much as it has me.
